Children & Teenage Anxiety

Are you witnessing your child struggle with the pressures of school and their peers? It is a fact that children and teens face unique challenges that can make their daily life stressful and overwhelming.  Their lives may be changing rapidly, whether they are adapting to a new school (from elementary to secondary), preparing to move off to college, or experiencing changes in their family structure. These transitions can create extra stress and uncertainty.

To some degree, anxiety is a natural response to stress. It is normal to feel anxious about an upcoming exam, or the pressures that come with achieving academic and personal goals. However, some children experience anxiety much more strongly than others. When anxiety becomes overwhelming and begins to interfere in their daily lives it is important to find them support. Do you feel that this is happening to your child? Do you see them losing control and their anxiety is taking over?
